Weekend, Dec 13-14, 2025 – Best Albums of 2025

Echoes Best Albums of 2025

We unveil The Best Albums of 2025 on Echoes. It’s a list unlike any other, which you should probably realize if you listen to Echoes.  We just experience a different world here in the Echoesphere.  It has been a beautifully tumultuous year for great music and we’ve compiled our list of 30 favorite albums. These are records that made us smile or made us think.

On this Echoes broadcast, you’ll only hear the top 20 because we can’t fit all 30 in, especially when one artist is doing compositions that are 43 and 30 minutes long. But we’ll have a stream of the complete 30 at Echoes Online.

You can see the complete list here>>

Jo Beth Young

Music from the artist formerly known as Talitha Rise and Rise. Now she’s using her real name, Jo Beth Young. The music is still as magical on her release, Broken Spells. We’ll hear that and the ambient group, Fields of Few, on Echoes with John Diliberto from PRX.
