26th Icon of Echoes Olafur Arnalds
One of the defining figures in neo-classical and ambient chamber music is Iceland’s Ólafur Arnalds. He’s the 26th Icon of Echoes. Over the last 15 years he’s sculpted a sound merging classical impressionism and ambient electronics. Olafur has played live on Echoes three times. We’ll go back to his first concert, recorded in 2011 when his album, And They Have Escaped the Weight of Darkness, was his latest release.
