Tom Caufield

Guitarist Tom Caufield brings us an album without any guitar. Using synthesizers and a violinist, he channels the sound of progressive groups like Popol Vuh and Vangelis on the album, Collaboratia. John Diliberto is always collaborating on Echoes from PRX.

David Holmes

David Holmes is a longtime giant of electronic music and a prolific film composer. He teams up with singer Raven Violet, with whom he’s worked in the group Unloved, to create a politically charged album, Blind on a Galloping Horse. We’ll also get music by HauschkaKhruangbin’s new live album and a great cover of “Tomorrow Never Knows”.  You’ll know tonight on Echoes or at Echoes On-Line Right Now

Slow Flow Echoes

On a Slow Flow Echoes, music from Explosions in the Sky. A few years ago, the atmospheric guitar ensemble released an ominously titled album, simply called End. It’s a much more rocking album than their previous releases and certainly their Friday Night Lights score, but we found a more cinematic track on it. John Diliberto goes to the end and back on a Slow Flow Echoes from PRX.
