Star Trek's 55th Space Music Tribute

Star Trek's 55th

55 years ago, on September 6, 1966, Star Trek was launched into space and became a cultural icon that still has impact today. There have been ten television spinoffs from Star Trek: Next Generation to the new animated series, Lower Decks. And there have been 13 movies. Phrases like “Live long and prosper”, “Beam me up” and “Mind-Meld” have become part of the vernacular.  Today, we celebrate Star Trek with the music of space. Captain John Diliberto of the Starship Echoes heads into space to boldly go where no one has gone before.
