Music from Babitha. That’s the stage name of Imogen Grist from Australia and she’s making a country inspired dream pop on her album, Brighter Side of Blue. We’ll also hear music by Hansan, a Swedish German duo of cello and voice. It’s always on the brighter side with John Diliberto on Echoes from PRX.

On a Slow Flow Echoes, music by the ambient country band SUSS, although their new eponymous release sounds more ambient than country. We’ll also hear a classic space music album by Robert Schroeder from his 1980 release, Floating Music. It’s just been re-issued. We’re always floating on a Slow Flow Echoes from PRX.

Techno DJs Felsmann & Tiley take the ambient classical pill and dial up a more cinematic electronic sound on their second album, Protomensch. They come in from the cold of hard techno for a warmer, more hypnotic sound that is a long way from the day floor.
Patrick Tiley: “We were a bit more youthful and energetic then for DJing club music and now we’re sort of making more music for the reclining chair.”
Their new conceptual release, Protomensch, manages to be hard-hitting and political as well as poignant and thoughtful, as they explore the idiocy and ingenuity of mankind. We talk to Felsmann & Tiley on Echoes from PRX.

Jaymie Rose Hennegan was born in Philadelphia, but her current home in New Mexico inspired her most recent album, Desert Goddess. Despite the desert imagery, her electronic landscapes tap a sound born in 1970s Berlin Space Music sequencers. John Diliberto has it on the next Echoes from PRX.
