Today we go to the hop. That’s the Spacehop Chronicles 2 of Bluetech who has just released the second volume of his electronic journey inspired by the fateful journey of Laika, the first dog into space, and the first to die there. Although that might seem like a downer inspiration., Bluetech’s album is full of exuberant electronics and head-spinning sound design. It is a deliriously joyful electronic album but with a dark underpinning informed by the back story. He composed the album to play as a seamless work and it does work beautifully that way, taking you on a non-stop 40 minute journey into space. Bluetech’s Spacehop Chronicles 2.
