We remember. It was a tough year for Icons of Echoes, as Klaus Schulze, Vangelis and Manuel Göttsching (Ashra) all left earth’s orbit this year, and they were joined by Mark Lanegan, Low Roar, Ian MacDonald (King Crimson/Foreigner), and too many more. As I was putting the show together on Monday, we got the news of Göttsching’s passing, and after the show was put to bed, Angelo Badalamenti departed, too late to make the show, but he’s in there coincidentally through Julee Cruise.
