Balmorhea Performs Live on Echoes.
Balmorhea are a band from Austin, Texas that doesn’t sound like a band from Austin. They’re exploring a deeper, more intimate sound. We’ve been playing them since their 2007 debut and they’ve performedon the show live two previous times. A track from each of those concerts has appeared on an Echoes Living Room Concert CD and a track from this one, “Sky Could Undress,” appears on our new album Victoria Place – Echoes Live 23. On this concert they played music from their latest album on Western Vinyl, Clear Language. It takes an even more ambient direction than their previous releases.
