Weekend, May 7 & 8, 2016-Echoes Program 1618A

Hammock's Everything and Nothing is the Echoes CD of the Month for May.

When it comes to ambient guitar, Hammock are the current icons, taking shoegaze strategies and projecting them through ambient designs. On their new album, they bring back some of the dynamics of their earlier music with drums, soaring melodies and some vocals.  It’s a more uplifting but still deep and textural experience.

  1. I was listening to Echos on Saturday night, 5/7 when i heard a beautiful piece of music around 10-10;!5. The melody line seemed to be carried primarily by the piano. Is there a way for me to identify this music?
