Living Room Concert: Philip Selway.

Radiohead has been one of the leading rock bands of the last two decades, pushing the envelope of the genre sonically and lyrically. The rhythm force behind that sound from the beginning has been drummer Philip Selway. But he’s more than a drummer as he has revealed on his two solo albums, Familial and his latest, Weatherhouse. Weatherhouse was an Echoes CD of the Month last November and wound up as the number 2 album of 2014 on the show. It’s an album of melancholy themes, pastoral psychedelic moods and deep melodies that reveal Selway’s heartfelt vocals. He comes in with his band to play the music of Weatherhouse live.
