Interview with Ascendant.

Ascendant consists of electronic music producers Chris Bryant and mastering engineer Don Tyler. Together they create sonic soundscapes, drifting melodies, complex sequences and skittering beats that find them somewhere between space and ambient music. We were captivated by their albums, Source Transmission and Outlets of the Sky and now they extend that sound with an impressive new album, Æthereal Code.

This is so cool! I’m listening to Echoes which I do online nearly every evening (since my local NPR station stopped carrying it about 4-5 years ago….I WAS SO MAD) and what do I hear but the band Arstidir which JUST performed in my very cool artistic town a couple days ago. This band was amazing and they were nice people as well. I love Echoes. Keep playing cool stuff!!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Did you catch Arstidir’s live performance on Echoes? They’ll also be interviewed in August so watch for it.
