ECHOES TOP 25 FOR FEBRUARY-NAKAI TOPS

Native Flutes and Ambient Chamber Music Top Echoes Top 25

It’s no surprise that R. Carlos Nakai, William Eaton & Will Clipman topped the Echoes charts this month with their uniformly exploratory album, Dancing Into Silence.  It was our Echoes CD of the Month for February.

And right behind it, Ludovico Einaudi‘s Nightbook, which has been at number 2 for two months running.  It will top the list in March as our CD of the Month.

And right behind that, an album that could’ve been a CD of the Month, Scott August‘s atmospheric and heavily electronic album, Radiant Sky, setting himself apart from so many Native flute players by creating textured electronic backings.

Ultimae‘s Imaginary Friends finally drops down a bit, but still remains in the Top Ten while another Ultimae disc, Cell‘s Hanging Masses debuts at #6.

You can see the complete Echoes Top 25 for February.
