After abandoning synthesizers for many years, Suzanne Ciani has returned to electronic music, creating improvisations on her first electronic instrument, the Buchla Modular Synthesizer.
Suzanne Ciani was a leading figure in New Age music with albums like Velocity of Love and Pianissimo. But behind her sweet, classically derived melodies was an avant-gardist who came of age with the Buchla modular synthesizer in the 1970s.
Six Hours of instrumental music ebbing and flowing in waves of ambient sound. It includes music from George Winston, Marconi Union, Suzanne Ciani, Erik Wollo, Klaus Schulze, and many others.
