The Delia Derbyshire Appreciation Society is less of a fan club and more of an electronic, deep ambient duo with Garry Hughes of Bombay Dub Orchestra and Harvey Jones.
Harmonica isn’t the sound you usually hear in ambient music, but that’s the chosen instrument of Art Patience, a musician from Arizona. He started out, and still plays blues and R&B harmonica licks, but on his recent albums, like The Recognition, he casts his harmonica out on desert southwest Echoes and ambient spaces.
