This weekend on Echoes we count down The Best of Echoes 2019, So Far as we reach the midway point of the year. We’ve also got a live performance by the post-rock band, I Think Like Midnight.
It’s music by Lamb, the electronic pop duo from England and their latest album, The Secret of Letting Go. We’ll also hear from an album of music inspired by the Netflix film, “Roma.”
On a Slow Flow Echoes it’s music from Brian Eno’s, Music for Installations, a 5-CD set of his music for artworks across the years. We’ll also hear music from a collection called Maui Chill.
Saul Stokes used to make his own electronic instruments and when he plays live, he doesn’t use any computers. That’s a few of the things that make Stokes a unique musician on the electronic scene.
I Think Like Midnight is enigmatic name of a Philadelphia instrumental rock group that includes members of the punk band, The Dead Milkmen. It’s a bitchin’ post-rock sound live on Echoes.
It’s the midway point of the year which means it’s time for The Best of Echoes 2019, So Far. I’ve got our top 25 albums of 2019’s first 6 months and you’ll hear them counted down.
