Will Ackerman is the 28th Icon of Echoes. He has performed his atmospheric acoustic guitar music live on Echoes several times over the years: here’s one from 2005.
Hammock are the 27th Icons of Echoes. In 2008, they came into the Echoes Studio to play their deep ambient guitar orchestrations live playing songs from Maybe They Will Sing for us Tomorrow.
Ólafur Arnalds plays live on Echoes. The Icelandic composer, along with his full ensemble and his Stratus piano system, performed music from his album, re:member.
The 24th Icon of Echoes is Harold Budd. We’ll remember this artist who influenced ambient and chamber music composers for half a century, right up until he passed away last year.

The 23rd Icon, Norwegian guitarist Erik Wøllo. Since the mid-1990s he’s been sculpting celestial landscapes for guitar and synthesizer. We’ll hear a vintage live Echoes Performance.
