Echoes September CD of the Month: Two by Twilight from Peter Phippen and Eric "The" Taylor
Today, we go deep ambient with Peter Phippen and Eric “the” Taylor from their album, Two by Twilight. It’s the September CD of the Month. Peter Phippen is well-known in the flute and new age world with 15 albums so far. He first came to prominence playing Native American Flutes but has since expanded to a panoply of flutes from around the world. Eric “the” Taylor is an electronic artist working in the ambient zone with groups like The Fragile Fate and Dark Sky Alliance. He most recently recorded with David Helpling. They’ve gotten together on an album that might be considered meditative if it wasn’t so surreal. We’ll hear several tracks from Two by Twilight on Echoes from PRX.
