Get ready for the Best of Echoes 2026. . . So Far. In this semiquincentennial year, we are casting back at all the music we have played thus far at the mid-point of the year, and seeing which releases stood out. We’ve compiled a ranked list of 30 recordings that we think rose above the crowd and today, we’re going to hear the Top 20. Thge list includes some legends of ambient music, some relatively new singer-songwriter-electronic artists, and maybe more space music than I would have expected.
