An Echoes Summer Solstice
This weekend is the Summer Solstice and today we’re painting the show in summer colors as we create a soundscape for the longest day and shortest night of the year. It’s always a time for pause then the seasons are at the extremes, whether it’s the equilibrium between day and night on the Vernal and Autumnal Equinoxes, the long night of the Winter Solstice or now, the long day of the Summer Solstice. We’ll orchestrate a Summer Solstice Soundscape with music from Erik Wollo, George Winston, Mimi Page, Craig Padilla and Marvin Allen and more.
