  1. Can you tell me the artist for the incidental music, between songs, while John is talking? The one with the violin & piano?

    • If it’s the music at the end of the first half hour, as John was talking about the Echoes interviews, that’s a piece by Tim Story and Roedelius, called “A Broken Alphabet,” that was recorded live on Echoes. It appears on the Echoes collection titled the Echoes Living Room Concerts volume 6. Sadly, that CD is out of print, but the original version of that song appears on Tim Story’s album The Perfect Flaw, which might be still available. The original is slightly different: the lead melody is played on oboe, rather than the viola that was used on the live version, but the piece still sounds largely the same. Hope that helps!
