New Music from Hammock
The ambient guitar duo, Hammock, return with a new album of inner contemplations and transfigured guitar excursions. It’s called Nevertheless and it’s a music that sits somewhere between here and there. We often refer to them as an Ambient guitar band, but on this album, Marc Byrd and Andrew Thompson strip away rhythm, dynamics and vocals to create a truly ambient release called Nevertheless . It’s just shimmering moods, textures and faint melodies. Unlike most Hammock releases, this one is only coming out digitally. Nevertheless, you can hear a couple of tracks in the soundscape of Echoes from PRX.
