Cigarettes After Sex performs live on Echoes.
Cigarettes After Sex was one of our great discoveries back around 2017. Fronted by singer and guitarist Greg Gonzales, who hails from El Paso, Texas, their sound is best characterized as dreampop noir. It’s slow, sultry, and seductive. This is the only time we allowed smoking on Echoes. Cigarettes After Sex was touring much smaller venues in 2017 than they are in 2024, and back then, they were able to drop by the Echoes studio for a live performance of several tracks from their debut album.
