Time is Stretched with Long Tracks V on Echoes
Stretch out on the next Echoes for Long Tracks V. We’ve got five long tracks for you with music designed to take you on a long, long journey. We’re going to hear Craig Padilla and Marvin Allen from their 2023 album, Strange Gravity. From Switzerland, we’ve got the great minimalist jazz ensemble, Nik Bartsch’s Ronin from their 2018 album, Awase and we’re going to hit one of our favorite ambient electronica albums, Horizontal by Moodswings. We’re going to hear the German electronic trio of Broekhuis, Keller & Schönwälder from their alum, Blue. This Berlin School-influenced trio recorded albums with all the colors of the rainbow. Topping it off is a new age classic from Constance Demby. Novus Magnificat is considered her masterpiece by we always liked the more organic sound of her previous album, Sacred Space Music. Back in the day of 1982, it was an entire album side and we’ll hear it on Long Tracks V.
