Hollan Holmes, Matthias Lehmann and Zanov on a Slow Flow Echoes
Some musicians draw their inspiration from their surrounding. That’s the case with Hollan Holmes, a Texas-based electronic musician who is inspired by geographical sites in that state. But he creates evocative, mystical soundscapes out that inspiration on his latest album, Sacred Places. Matthias Lehamnn on the other hand, a German electronic musician goes right to fantasy on his latest album, Zauberland which translates as Magical Realm. We’ll also hear a 1970s French space music pioneer, Zanov from his latest album, Lost in the Future. John Diliberto always has the music of the future on Echoes from PRX.
