January CD of the Month: Nocturnes by The Great Northern
The first new show of 2022 features the January CD of the Month, Nocturnes by The Great Northern. The Great Northern is Ben Jackson. He usually produces country and pop in Nashville, but we’ll hear him as an electronic ambient composer. Why Beatles? Echoes is what I listen to precisely to get away from that stuff :/
Because it’s great music. Because the Beatles are in our DNA. Because that song in particular is an influence on a lot of the Echoes Sound. Because it fit great in that set. Sorry you didn’t like it. I guess that means you’ll hate it when I play The Bee Gees on Wednesday’s show. Really.
