Jess Lamb and the Factory-Finding the Spirit in Pandemic: The Echoes Interview
Jess Lamb and the Factory take us into their album of spiritual search and identity. And then there’s American Idol. Jess was a contestant. They are a Cincinnati band fronted by singer Jess Lamb and includes Warren Harrison from the duo Hungry Lucy. They’ve created a deep spiritual meditation partly shaped by Pandemic called You Are that is steeped in biblical imagery, gospel like hymns and ambient moods.
Some weekend listeners will also hear an interview with Leandrul. She creates beautiful electro-pop music with deep psychological implications. Her new album, Psychosis of Dreams, is not a metaphor. It’s about her real trauma with mental health and her process of moving through it to recovery. Join John Diliberto when he puts Leandrul on the therapist’s couch of Echoes.
