Clannad, the acclaimed Irish band fronted by the transcendent singer, Moya Brennan, is looking to wrap things up with a box set collection and a farewell tour. With the passing of founding member Pádraig Duggan in 2016, they’ve decided to make one last round on tour, which looks like it will just be all over England. In the meantime, they will release the double CD/LP set, In a Lifetime, which includes two new songs, a cover of Sandy Denny’s “Who Knows Where the Time Goes” and an original track “A Celtic Dream.” It’s vintage Clannad with with the band shot in black & white, Moya wearing a bolero hat, against landscapes of Ireland and lyrics recounting myths and legends, Fits right in for me while I’m on the fourth book of a A Song of Ice and Fire and in the second season of Outlander.
