Weekend listeners will hear a serene and free-flowing exploration of chamber music moods when we hear pianist Fiona Joy Hawkins and violinist Rebecca Daniel in a beautiful and intimate performance playing music from their album, The Lightness of Dark. Fiona Joy Hawkins goes the deepest she’s gone on a recording and the mix of their two instruments, plus Daniel’s wordless soprano voice and Hawkin’s ethereal whisper makes this session intoxicating. She takes up residence and composes music inspired by the landscapes and her photographs.
