While Blonde Redhead is recording a new album, we bring you this live concert on Echoes streaming now. Blonde Redhead is a band that has gone through a lot of musical changes since their 1995 debut. The band is Kazu Makino singing and playing guitar and keyboards, Amedeo Pace singing and playing guitar and his twin brother Simone Pace on drums. They started as a noise-oriented alternative rock band, but made a turn toward a more atmospheric sound, beginning with their 2004 album, Misery is a Butterfly. In 2016, they released a box set of their early albums called Masculin Féminin that includes their first two releases, as well as alternative tracks and demos. The contrast between their early, noisy sound and later, spacier approach, couldn’t be more striking than on their 2017 EP: 3 O’Clock.
