William Tyler Plays Live on Echoes.
We heed the call of Horace Greeley and head west, but not the west of manifest destiny. We’ll hear guitarist William Tyler, whose latest album is called Goes West. He’ll play live versions of tunes from that recording, as well as some earlier works. A child of Takoma & Windham Hill Records guitarists, his music is full of dynamic twists and melodic invention that take him out of folk music terrain. He comes in to play music from this inventive album live on Echoes.
