Chad Lawson comes in to play a concert of ambient piano, live. Lawson has been around for a while but he first came to our attention with the album, The Space Between, a beautiful album of subtle, original chamber music. He followed that with the acclaimed The Chopin Variations,” where he turned the classical composers works into ambient dreams. On his latest albums, Re:Piano and Home Sweet Home: The 2018 Lore Variations, he works with real-time electronic manipulations of his piano sound. That’s what he did when he played live on Echoes.
