Loma plays live on Echoes
Loma has just released their self-titled debut on Sub Pop, but this isn’t quite a new band. It’s a meeting of Jonathan Meiburg, the singer and principal songwriter for the great alt-rock group Shearwater and the duo called Cross Record with singer Emily Cross and multi-instrumentalist Dan Duszynski. The band brings together Cross Record’s avant-pop sensibilities with Shearwater’s dreamy alt-rock for a wonderful album that is at once nostalgic and 21st century forward. They play live on Echoes.
