Actually, Marte Germaine Christensen disrobes in this haunting and innocently risqué video for the song, “The Great Undressing” off Jenny Hval’s 2016 album, Blood Bitch.
While most of that album is edgy, glitched out and written at obtuse melodic angles, “The Great Undressing” is a doomy, but serene song about an inability to connect in love. The video features Ms. Christensen cavorting completely nude through everyday situations biking, swimming, a birthday party, dancing: all among fully clothed people,as if everything was normal. Against this backdrop, Norwegian singer, Hval, off-screen, intones lyrics like:

Even though her character is naked in the crowd, she is isolated from love.
