Interview: Johann Agebjörn.
Johan Agebjörn is like an undercover agent living three different lives. By day, he’s a father and is studying to become a psychologist. While he’s studying people’s minds, he’s also the mastermind behind Sally Shapiro, a Swedish pop project that has had several hits in Europe. But by night, when everyone is asleep, Agebjörn slips into his studio to make ambient music. He recently released the album Notes, an ambitious song cycle exploring chamber and electronic moods with singers, including Sally Shapiro and Loney Dear. We talk to Johan Agebjörn about escaping the world.
