Tuesday, March 24th, 2015-Echoes Program 1512B

Angela Sheik is an idiosyncratic singer building her sound on looping instrumental patterns and a wild voice that has drawn comparisons to Kate Bush. She recently released the album, Home Before Dark.  Angela Sheik comes in to play her music live on Echoes.

angela was stunning; thanx for that program. she was much better than I expected live in person, considering the demands of her musical production methods. I still consider her brilliant demo album pappachappa 2b her best work 2date, and one of the most underrated and neglected pieces of pop music by the fm airwaves in the last decade. it should have been a grammy force of the same magnitude as artists like lorde and adele have been in recent years. celtic echoes was lovely2
