Lanterna Plays Live on Echoes
Lanterna is the recording persona of Henry Frayne from Champaign, Illinois. He’s played in shoegaze bands, Area and The Moon Seven Times, but he’s best known as a leading exponent of Ambient Americana, creating dreamy, delay drenched compositions that seem to lift off like mirages on the American plains. He has a new album out called Backyards, which will be the Echoes CD of the Month in March. He works his magic live on Echoes.
