Sun Ra was the first space musician, a voyager who took jazz and electronics into deepest space creating a mythological world that he actually lived in. Born on May 22, 1914, Sun Ra left the planet in 1993. We’ll remember Sun Ra with interview clips, music from his Arkestra and music from deep space.
