We head east on Echoes for our December CD of the Month. It’s by Japanese composer Hiroki Okano. He’s a multi-instrumentalist working in nature based ambient music as well as electronic dance music. He has a new album of pastoral dreams called Return to the Soul.
On the next Echoes, ambient guitarist Jeff Pearce comes in to weave the looped and delay drenched melodies of his latest album, a recording made for the coming winter. It’s called “For the Darker Seasons.”
On a Slow Flow Echoes, we’ll hear new solo piano music from Peter Kater. It’s an album he made with listeners lying under his piano. It’s called Dancing On Water. We’ll also hear music from the Swedish progressive group, Dungen, Häxan, remixed. It’s the witches.
