All India Radio is the ambient rock project of Australia’s Martin Kennedy. With his 10th album, The Slow Light, he’s created a journey of ambient guitar and slow burn moods.
It’s the sound of tripped out trumpets. Horn players are going beyond the sound of Be-bop solos and classical concertos.
We hear features from 7 of the performers at Big Ears 2015 including Kronos Quartet, Laurie Anderson, A Winged Victory for the Sullen, Max Richter, William Tyler, Silver Apples, and Bill Frisell.
