Japanese Ambiences from Kitaro and Hiroki Okano on Echoes.
On the next Echoes, two artists from Japan. We’ll hear Kitaro from his album, An Enchanted Evening, which has just been reissued. His music is much more dynamic than people often think, even fans, but you’ll hear some raging electric guitar in these tracks. The other artist is Hiroki Okano. He’s part of the nature music movement in Japan and has been making finely honed music with the elegance of a Zen garden. We’ll hear from latest, Kyoumei. That translates as empathy or resonance.
