On the next Echoes, new music by Wouter Kellerman, Eru Matsumoto and Chandrika Tandon. Kellerman is a Grammy-winning South African flute player who has been carving out a world fusion sound for decades now. You’ve been hearing him on the show for some time. He is frequently collaborating with other musicians, including David Arkenstone and Ricky Kej. With cellist Eru Matsumoto and singer Chandrika Tandon, they create a chamber world fusion called Triveni. It won this years New Age Grammy Award. We’ll hear that and more tonight on Echoes from PRX.
