Immersion and SUSS: The Echoes Interview
Today on Echoes we talk to Immersion and SUSS. These are two artists who you hear a lot on Echoes that have recently converged for a brilliant new album that is a true meeting of differing musical cultures. One is the British duo Immersion with Colin Newman from the band Wire and Malka Spigel from Minimal Compact. The other is the American Ambient country band SUSS with guitarist and multi-string player Bob Holmes, who is also in the group numün; guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Pat Irwin, who also composes the soundtrack for Dexter; and pedal steel player Jonathan Gregg.
