Kinobe's It's Only a Dream Video
We debut a new single by Kinobe, the Australian/British downtempo band centered by Julius Waters, who are about to release an album that sounds more acoustic than electronic. “It’s Only a Dream” starts out with some cinematic strings, then a little shuffle groove guitar and a voice saying, “It’s only a dream.” From there we are off on somewhat romantic and pastoral journey with swooning strings, and swirling electronics in the middle. It’s a hypnotic, seductive track and like the previous singles, foreshadows their album, Out of the Blue, a trip with a sixties-influenced film and television music sound . If you didn’t hear that in the music, you’ll see it in the video which travels through images of 60s starlets, jet-set travels, desert rides, Las Vegas and Paris and topping it all, shots done in cinemascope.
