Jeff Rona is a musician who has been involved with a lot of big projects, but was never the big name on those projects. He worked with Philip Glass on Powaqatsi in 1988 and worked in Hans Zimmer’s film group for years, working closely with the academy award winning composer and partnering with singer Lisa Gerrard on a film score. His own projects include the TV series Chicago Hope, Homicide: Life on the Streets and films like White Squall. Now after nearly 40 years as a professional musician, he’s released his first solo album. Projector. We talk to Jeff Rona about a life plugged in on the Echoes Podcast. Roll film.
