Hite performs live on Echoes.
Hite is the performance name used by Julia Easterlin. Under her given name, she created looping pop songs, but now she’s abandoned loops in favor of a band approach to her songs that infuses influences from her work with Malian singer and guitarist Vieux Farke Toure. She has a new album, Light of a Strange Day, and she comes in with her band to perform music from it live.
