SHELfest: 3 Concerts by SHEL in Delaware Valley
It’s going to be a SHELfest in the next two days around the Philadelphia area home of Echoes. SHEL, the band of four sisters from Colorado, Sarah, Hannah, Eva and Liza Holbrook. They will be making three appearances in the area in 2 days. The band has been all over the place lately behind their new album, Just Crazy Enough, including NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday. We are several cuts deep into including the mournful “Lost As Anyone” and their cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” But we knew them when. We played their first, eponymously titled album when it came out in 2012. They’ll be making their third recording session since then on Echoes today. Then tonight, June 14, they will play a FREE concert at Eagleview Concerts in the Square . And tomorrow night, June 15 SHEL is performing at World Cafe Live at the Queen in Wilmington, DE. It’s never been a better time to hear their magical music.
