Bella Gaia, or Beautiful Earth is a massive multi-media project put together by violinist and electronic composer Kenji Williams. He came to renown playing techno as ABA Structure but a few years ago he put together a world music project called Bella Gaia that brought photos of earth by NASA to the stage with a global ensemble. It’s music that has environmental concerns at its core. Williams has been touring the world relentlessly with different versions of the project. He comes to Echoes with singer and pianist Kristin Hoffmann to perform music from Bella Gaia, including a rare acoustic performance of one song.
