Living Room Concert: Yoed Nir
Yoed Nir is an Israeli born cellist steeped in classical music. He took a left turn into rock, playing with Regina Spector, and then took another dramatic turn, creating an ambient chamber music of cello orchestrations. On his latest CD, The Next Dream, he layers his cello in looping designs and electronic processes, making a fantasy chamber music that’s part symphony and part Hendrix. He comes into Echoes to play live.
