Living Room Concert: Gem Club
You can’t get diamonds and rubies at Gem Club, but you can get jewels of sound. This band, fronted by pianist/composer/singer Christopher Barnes creates a dream pop sound steeped in close harmonies and Barnes’ personal lyrics drawn from his life as a gay man. These music college grads talk about the artful sound heard on their album, In Roses.

Loved the Gem club, def precious
Hey what was playing about half hour ago that sounded like cello and piano …before the harp guitar guest….thank u.
Allison – In the half hour before the Harp Guitar feature, there was a Piano and Cello (or maybe cello-sounds…) by Bruno Sanfiippo, from his CD Claroscuro.

There should be sound samples at those links so you can verify that it’s what you’re thinking of.
If that’s not it – you might find more clues in this playlist:

(many stations play more than just one program on the weekend, when that’s the case, it’s usually the show from the preceding Monday, followed by Tuesday, and Wednesday, etc.)
Hope that helps!
