William Tyler: Americana Guitar Iconoclast
Dan Tyler wrote country western songs like “Bobbie Sue,” but his son William Tyler has gone in a different direction.  Influenced by finger-style iconoclasts like John Fahey, he picks out Americana songs tinged with atmospheres more influenced by Brian Eno.  He talks about his influences from his new CD, Behold the Spirit in the first hour.  In the second hour, William wows us with some of his intricate songs and phenomenal technique on acoustic guitar.
